KING Materials Handling has released the TITAN Tow Tug which it says is a low-cost and safe alternative to hand pushing and pulling heavily laden trolleys.

The TITAN Tow Tug has thumb operated speed controls which vary the speed from slow crawl to fast walking speed. It comes equipped with emergency stop, key switching, battery charge indicator and auto reverse emergency pad features.

According to King Materials Handling, the TITAN has two large pneumatic tyred wheels which cushion the load, and castors to steady the tug. It can be quickly hitched to any type of wheeled trolleys. The tiller height range accommodates loads from short to tall.

King Materials Handling says workers can use the tug to pull along a string of flatbed trolleys, obviating the need to go back and forth with one trolley. The TITAN Tow Tug has a maximum capacity of 1000kg. Two 12V gel cell batteries and a charger are integrated in the unit.
