JCB is putting the finishing touches to a new Loadall telescopic handler designed for the growing bio-energy industry.

The bio-energy industry requires heavy duty loaders for building stockpiles of raw materials.

According to JCB, the proposed machine will be suited to continuous heavy loading cycles on hard surfaces, providing the performance of a loading shovel with the lift height and reach of a telescopic machine.

Target specifications for the Loadall include a lift capacity approaching five tonnes, eight metre lift height, multi-speed powershift transmission and 130hp from a JCB Dieselmax engine.

JCB says it is likely to include Variflo hydraulics, Smoothride boom suspension and full servo control as part of the package.
